God dealt with me about altars and He took me back to 1 Peter 2:5 that talks about us believers being "lively stones".  We are lively (living) stones because we are in the Body of Christ.  We are His temple, His spiritual building, "built up a spiritual house" ... it's spiritual, not soulish.

1 Peter 2:5 ... Ye, also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an  holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

"A holy priesthood" ... every believer has a holy priesthood calling on their life.  This is not relagated only to the 5-fold ministry ministers.  When you are ministering to someone else, you are serving in your role as a priest to that person.

This does not mean that you are his pastor or his priest, or that he cannot go and learn from someone somewhere else.  It means that at this point in time God is using you to minister to him.  This is your priesthood.
