Many believers have gone just so far and have stopped pursuing their intimacy with the Godhead and cleaning up their act. They've stopped doing what Jesus did and what He's called them to do.
Our Heavenly Father desires us to be exact imitators of Jesus on the Earth. This is progressive with each and every believer. We grow by getting together with other believers at a higher level than we are.
Don't get with someone who's "down in the mullygrubs" and is happy to remain in that state, not wanting to grow any higher than where he is. You will end up with him in the mullygrubs. You will change to be like him before he changes to be like you. Not too good for you.
