John 5:22,23 ... "The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son."  And yet the Son turns around and says, "I judge no man."

The above verse continues:  "that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father.  He who does not honor the Son does not  honor the Father Who sent Him."  This points out religious Christianity which is not the real thing.

A friend of ours was talking to a Presbyterian lady, telling her what his church was doing with clothes, food, and other things.  He told us that she acted and sounded shocked that Pentacostals did those things.  He told her that it was part of the Great Commission: getting people saved and giving them the physical items they need.

James 2:16,17 ... You say unto them: "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled", yet you don't give them those things which they need for their bodies.  Even so, faith without works is dead, being alone.

This Scripture tells us that faith without the corresponding works is dead.  What are the works?  They are the giving of tithes, alms, and offerings ... the ministry of alms is works.  It's the giving of food, clothing, and other things to people who need it.

There are other faith actions than this.  All faith demands an action with it.  Without faith it is impossible to please God.  Without the action along, faith is inoperative ... it does not work.  So our faith with our corresponding action is what pleases our Heavenly Father.
