John 3:18 AMP. ... He who believes on Him (Jesus) ... who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him ... is not judged.  (He who trust in Him ... Jesus ... never comes up for judgment, for him there is no rejection, no condemnation, he incurs no damnation).  But he who does not believe (does not cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already; he has not believed on and trusted in the Name of the only begotten Son of God ... he is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Jesus' Name.

This verse includes two opposites: the believer and the unbeliever.  It could also be a believer whose sin-consciousness overrides any righteousness-consciousness.

Romans 8:1b ... For those who are in Christ Jesus, who live not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the (Holy) Spirit..

The sins that we commit are no surprise to God, but He doesn't dwell on our sins.  He dwells on righteousness and who we are ... because He's in us ... in our spirit man.  He cannot, will not, dwell where there is sin.

Our spirit man is not our problem.  Our soul ... our mind ... grabs ahold of the sins we've committed and we dwell more on them than on the righteousness and forgiveness that God's provided with the Blood of Jesus.

Yes, God wants us to repent and turn away from these acts.  He doesn't want us to dwell on our mistakes.  He wants us to dwell on Jesus and the intimacy we have with Him, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit ... because this intimacy with Them is where our victories come from.

We don't gain any victories by ourselves.  The victories in the soul realm or the natural world that we experience ... we think that we've accomplished them on our own.

NO!! Prayers: someone else's or yours instituted by spiritual truths, made them come to pass and you weren't aware of the effect that these had to in bringing about your victory.
