God has covered all the bases. If we'd just read His Book for what it really says, whatever argument we come up with, God has the answer in His Word, the New Covenant.
Romans 8:1 AMP ... Therefore [there is] now no condemnation ... no adjudging guilty of wrong ... for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.
"No adjudging guilty of wrong for those who are in Christ Jesus" ... here the devil will come and beat you up as long as you let him. "Oh, look at what you did today! You really screwed up, really blew it, this time, didn't you? What are you going to do to make amends for this now?"
Answer him like this: "I'm going to tell God that I messed up and I need to be forgiven." END OF IT!
I am not going to sit there and meditate on this "screw-up", thinking: "Boy, I really messed up this time." You must get beyond this thought because it doesn't work. I have done this many times, and God will ask me: "When are you going to ask Me for forgiveness?"
People will take what the devil dishes out to them, and later he will use it against them again. Get your forgiveness from your Heavenly Father ... DONE DEAL ... and go on with your life. When the devil comes back ... and he will ... speak the Word to him, and he will soon leave.
