Psalm 122:6 AMP. ... Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!  May they prosper that love you [the Holy City!]

The Apostle Paul is writing in 1 Timothy2:1,3,4, in the AMP. : 1> First of all, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men ... 2> for kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.  4> God, our Savior, wishes all men to be saved and increasingly perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [Divine Truth] ...

We Christians need to pray for them to come to the knowledge of the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We also need to keep praying for Jerusalem's peace because that is the key to the whole end time thing that God wants to do.  This is our responsibility ... God will hold us accountable.
