The devil, satan, has been stripped of his power.

2 Corinthians 2:10-11 The Passion Bible ... If you freely forgive anyone for anything, then I also forgive him.  And if I have forgiven anything, I did so before you before the face of Christ, so that we would not be exploited by the adversary, Satan, for we know his clever schemes.   We are not ignorant of his devises.

If all believers weren't ignorant of the devil's devices, they wouldn't be losing their battles.  A lot of people think that satan can go back to God when they mess up and say: "See what so-and-so did ... look at what they are doing ... they are sinning!"  The devil can no longer do this.

Luke 10:18 ... And Jesus said unto them, "I beheld Satan as lightening fall from Heaven."

What happened to Satan?   He fell from Heaven!  If he fell from Heaven, he has no way to get back there.

Another version says that Satan was "thrown out of Heaven".  God expelled him.  How is he going to go back to God and accuse you?  He can only accuse you through other people, and this is exactly what he does!

This is why accusation of the brethren is such a bad deal.  These people are allowing Satan to manipulate them.  God's Word should be our final decision on everything.  But we go by our past experiences, or by what someone else said, and we react to that.

We should go to and check these things out in the Word of God.  What does the Word say?  Go and read it in the Word for yourself.
