Now the WORKS OF THE FLESH are manifested which are these:
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of the which I tell you that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.
But the FRUIT OF THE (HOLY) SPIRIT is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance; against such there is no law.
We are talking about the attributes...the characteristics...of God. We're talking about the natural vs. the spiritual. The Fruit of the Spirit is spiritual.
When the Fruit, the characteristics, manifests, they manifest in the natural world. We have to have discernment of their root being manifested.
The Apostle Paul here is contrasting what the flesh does vs. what the Spirit does.
We need to know AND understand that we are SPIRITUAL beings, and that what we see are things that the Holy Ghost is producing in our life. He is producing them in our spirit.
