I have convinced myself that if God said it and I see it in His Word, I can live in it. I was quizzing God one day about this ... "God, am I right or am I wrong? Because if I'm right, I'm going to keep pursuing it. But if I'm wrong, I need to change."
In our devotions one morning, Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin said this: "Acting on our reasoning (natural, soulish) instead of relying on God's Word (the Scriptures) means: to trust in the arm of man (his reasoning ability) instead of on what God's Word tells us."
Philippians 3:3 The Passion Bible ... We worship God in the power and freedom of the Holy Spirit, not in laws and religious duties. We are those who boast in what Jesus, the Anointed One, has done, and not in what we can accomplish in our own strength.
So I said, "OK, God, I'm going to keep on being radical. I'm going to believe what You say in Your Word, and that's what I'm going to stand on ... regardless of what somebody else tells me."
