John 17:5 ... "And now, oh Father, glorify Thou Me with Thine Ownself with the Glory which I had with Thee before the world was."
The first 19 verses of John 17 are relevant to His twelve disciples. Verse 5 is a very powerful verse. Jesus is asking the Father to restore to Him the Glory ... meaning that He was walking on the Earth without it.
If He already had God's Glory with Him when He was walking on Earth, He wouldn't have had to ask the Father to give it back to Him. He did have glory, though, because glory and the anointing go hand-in-hand.
He had man's glory while walking on the face of the Earth for thiry-three years, doing the works that He did and completing the Old (Covenant) Testament. The four Gospels are the completion of the Old Covenant.
