What do you want? I want God's Presence more than anything else this world has to offer. I want the continuous Presence of Jesus. I don't just want His Presence on Sunday mornings. Some Christians just "feast in His Presence" on Sunday mornings for a couple of hours, and for the rest of the week, they starve. I want His Presence on Monday, on Tuesday, On Wednesday, on Thursday, on Friday, and on Saturday.
I want to live and dwell in His Presence because I've found out that His Presence is the Hiding Place for the believer. When the storms of life are raging, where do I go? I go to His Presence. I go to the Cleft of the Rock, I go to the Secret Place.
Psalm 31:19,20 NKJ ... Oh, how great is Your Goodness which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust ih You in the presence of the sons of men! You shall hide them in the Secret Place of Your Presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a Pavilion from the strife of tongues.
"That fear Him" ... this fear is respect, not a fearful fear. The more that you are in His Presence, the smaller you become and the bigger He becomes. When you come into His Presence, you realize that you are nothing and that He is everything. We are nothing without Him and with Him we are everything.
