John 14:17a ... "Even the Spirit of Truth".....

Remember --- the Spirit of Truth is now living in you.  Your body is His temple ... it's your temple too.  The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and  He's abiding intimately with you.

John 14:17 ... "... Whom the world cannot receive because it sees Him not, (neither is intimate with Him or knows Him).  But you know Him ... (you're intimate with Him because He's intimate with you.)  For He dwells with you."

Jesus is telling His disciples this.  They were not born again at this point in time because He had not yet been resurrected.  He told them, "He (the Holy Spirit) shall be in you." He is in us and He's not going to leave.

The words in Ezekiel 36:26,27 were spoken prophetically that the Holy Spirit would be living in us.  So way back in the Old Testament, God told us that this was going to happen.

Ezekiel 36:26,27a ... "A new heart will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh, and I will put My Spirit within you.
