Proverbs 4:7 says this: "Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom, and in all your getting, get understanding."

Proverbs 9:10 ... "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

Proverbs 2:3-5 says, "If you cry out for discernment (knowledge) and lift up your voice for understanding; if you seek her as silver and search for her as for hid treasures, THEN (not before then, but then) you shall understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God."

It's not casually meandering down the garden way of life expecting God to drop blessings on your head, but it's being a servant of the Lord, obeying Hm, realizing that He doesn't just have what you need ... He is what you need.

Jesus tells us, "I AM the Way, the Truth ... I AM the Way, Truth."  Not "I HAVE", but I AM.  No man comes to the Father but by Me."
