God's intention is for us to be an exact duplication of Jesus Christ walking on the face of the Earth today.     

A lot of us would probably say that we are not duplicates of Jesus.  Well, I don't know of any one single human being who has accomplished that, but we are working and striving to be that way.  This has to do with us becoming intimate with Jesus and recognizing the character of the Godhead. 

The Fruit of the Spirit, basically, are the characteristics of the Godhead, specifically the Holy Spirit, because He is living inside of us and He's wanting to manifest that Fruit through us so that others will be able to God in us.
