Romans 8:1 ... There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the (Holy) Spirit.

You will see that there is a condition for us to not be condemned. This Scripture is talking about believers, not the worldly bunch ... "who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit".

Verse 2 says that the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

The Law of the Holy Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus ... God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit ... has made me free from the Old Testament law of sin and death.  The law of sin and death technically has no rule over us ... except when we let it ... and we do not let it!

Thousands of Christian believers die every year.  They shouldn't be dying, but they've allowed the law of sin and death to overcome their flesh which gives up because it cannot live under those conditions.  This isn't easy ... Christianity is not easy.  People think that when they become a Christian, all of their trouble will be over.

WRONG!  We may find out that our troubles are just beginning.  The devil does not like this change in us and he will bring out his collection of evil to discourage us in our change and try to bring us back into our old natural ways.

This may be too deep for many people ... they aren't ready for it.  We can be easily overwhelmed by the devil's tactics and slip back into our old ways if we aren't walking in intimacy with our Heavenly Father.
