The Holy Spirit is our "alarm", and we simply have to respond in obedience when this alarm goes off in our soulish heart.  We mustn't harden our heart to this alarm.  We have to let Him continually do a softening work in our heart because over a period of time our hearts will become hardened.

We allow people to get to us, we allow hurts and disobedience to come in, and our heart becomes hard and calloused.  We need to allow the Holy Spirit to come and do His softening work.  This is where Christians are now ... through no falult of their own ... because they may be ignorant of it.

We all must get back into God's Presence and stay there.  In this place, things that come and try to bother us, will not, because this is our place of safety ... our Hiding Place ... and our attention will be on Him, not on those other things of the world.

So get hungry for more of Jesus!  Get thirsty for more of Jesus!  Matthew 5:6 says that if we will hunger and thirst after righteousness, we will be filled.

In James 4:7, God tells us that if we draw nigh (near) to Him, He will draw nigh to us.

We must stay in His Presence and not come out of it.
