Living in the past is not a good thing.

When we became Christians, we learned some basic things ... and some people still want to stay there.  They are still living in their Model-T Ford going to town and they haven't progressed beyond that.  So they couldn't go out onto the interstate and not be blown off the highway by the more modern faster-moving vehicles ... and more importantly, they couldn't go out there and do modern business for the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:17 ... Therefore if any man (any person) be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

A person who has been born again is a new creature, NOT a new creation.  God does not recreate what He's already made ... He changes it.

Don't look back to the past to live there.  If you are going to grow in revelation knowledge and in intimacy with Jesus, you'll not do it by looking backwards.
