Exodus 3:14 ... God said, "I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM,  and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE."   

Ephesians 4:30 ... Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God ... do not offend or vex, or sadden Him ... by Whom you are sealed ... marked, branded ... as God's own.  

1 Thessalonians 5:17 ... Be unceasing in prayer.   

Matthew 15:8 ... This people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but their heart holds off and is far away from Me.

James 1:14,15 ... Every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire ... his lust, his passions.  Then the evil desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully mature brings forth death.
